Trisha bags JFW award.

The 5th edition of this prestigious award is scheduled to be held in Chennai on March 1st and Trisha has been selected as one of the recipient of JFW Women Achievers award for excellence in cinema.

This year, JFW Women Achievers Award will honour veteran actress Saroja Devi, Trisha Krishnan, singer Sujatha Mohan, Sania Mirza in sports, Hansika Motwani for the success and sensation she has created in cinema, dancer Alarmel Valli, Dipika Pallikal, scientist Tessy Thomas among others, for their accomplishments in their respective fields.

Trisha recently completed ten years in K-town. The actress made her entry into films in 2002 withMounam Pesiyadhe, which has Suriya in the lead. The actress rose to become one of the most sought-after actresses in the industry and had some of the biggest hits in K-town opposite the A-listers in the industry.

Trisha has films opposite Jiiva, Vishal and Jayam Ravi. She has already worked with the likes of Kamal Haasan, Ajith, Vijay, Vikram.
