Veteran Malayalam actor Thilakan, who was part of Tamil movies too, has been hospitalised following a stroke. He is also suffering from pneumonia, and ailments related to the kidney, say the doctors at the Jubilee Mission Hospital, Thrissur.
Thilakan had complained of uneasiness on July 29 during a film shoot and was admitted to a private nursing home in Palakkad, from where he was referred to the Jubilee Mission Hospital Medical College in Thrissur.
Sources from the team of doctors who are treating the 77-year-old versatile actor said he is also suffers from pneumonia in addition to kidney disease and the infection has spread to entire body.
The actor recently delivered a brilliant role in the film Usthad.
