Seenu Ramasamy sounds optimistic

Even as his next directorial venture Neer Paravai getting ready to hit the screens, National Award winner Seenu Ramasamy is optimistic that his film would sure strike a chord with the audience.

‘I have registered the pain of Lankan Tamils for 14 minutes. I wanted the whole India to take note of the troubles of fishermen. So I roped in Nandita Das to play a crucial role,’ he says.

The film has Vishnu and Sunaina in lead roles. ‘Neer Paravai not just speaks about troubles and problems. There is a beautiful love story between the lead pair,’ he says.

Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies, the film has music by Raghunanthan. Director Samuthirakani has played an important role.
