Rajashri to debut in Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films.

Bangalore lass Rajshri Ponnappa, who is currently shooting for her Kannada debut Paru w/o Devdas with Srinagara Kitty and Soundarya Jayamala, is all set to test waters in Mollywood and Kollywood. In M-Town with her debut in the industry as a nun in Pithavinum, Puthranum, Parishuddhathmavinum.

Her second in the industry director Reji Nair’s woman-centric Tamil-Malayalam bilingual Aram also sees her in a deglam avatar. “It’s not like only going deglam works in Mollywood. You can always do the running-around-trees kind of roles, but movies like these don’t come your way every now and then,” she says. Interestingly, she is also gearing up for her Tamil debut.

“I play a gutsy village belle in the film, which has Vikranth in the lead. These days, we have a lot of films that are rooted in reality and have themes that people can relate to. It feels good to be a part of such films,” Rajshri states.
