Director Praveen Gandhi has agreed to remove the alleged controversial scenes from Puli Parvai. A section of students staged protest against the movie alleging that it portrays Balachandran, son of slain LTTE chief in bad light. They staged protests too during its audio launch.
In a bid to end the issue, the director announced that he was ready to remove the objectionable scenes from the film and promised to screen the film to protesters before its release.
He assured them that the movie contains nothing that will bring disrepute to Lankan Tamils.
The movie is produced by Vendhar Movies. Plans are on for a release next month.
