Kumki releases today

It is a big day for director Prabhu Solomon. After Mynaa, he is out with his next Kumki which marks the debut of Vikram Prabhu, son of prabhu and grandson of thespian Sivaji Ganesan. Speaking about the project, Prabhu Solomon, says, ‘three things

interest me – train, sea and elephant. I decided to make the pachyderm the central theme of my movie, because I wanted to showcase the a very emotional link between the elephant and its mahout. Its a relationship that is built on familiarity and trust.’

Vikram Prabhu says, ‘I am thankful to te directo9r for casting me in the film. It is a different film and make my debut with Kumki is a relishing experience’.
