Kamal's special speech at MSV felicitation

Kamal Haasan recalled his association with legendary music composer MS Viswanathan and T K Ramamurthy at a grand event organised to honour the legendary music composers in Chennai on Wednedsay. The event was presided over by Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
On his part, Kamal Haasan said, ‘the work of the legendary duo has an instant apeal on the present generation too.’
Thanking the Chief Minister for honouring them, he said, ‘I got emotional. I felt as if I was honoured today’.
Recalling his association working with MSV, veteran filmmaker K Balalchander said, ‘I worked in 24 Tamil films and 10 Telugu films with him and lyricist Kannadasan..They were some of my most memorable days. I owe all my success to MSV. My only grouse is that he should have got ‘national’ recognition’.
Music composer Illayaraja and filmmaker A V M Saravanan also spoke.
