In a press release, the Viswaroopam star, said, ‘I kick off such a mission some 20 years ago and with the help of my fans we have carrying it out successfully’.
Kamal Haasan, said, ‘I will be part of Clean India Campaign and try to at least nine million more people if possible. I consider this as nation building exercise’.
He also reiterated that with a mission to serve the society he had converted his fans clubs as social welfare organisation several years ago.
It may be recalled that as part of his Clean India Campaign, Modi on Thursday nominated nine Indians to begin the Clean India campaign in public places. Among them are actors Salman Khan, Kamal Haasan, Priyanka Chopra and the entire team of the TV show Tarak Mehta Ka Olatah Chasma. Modi has also asked them to nominate nine others each, thereby creating a chain of sorts.
