Filmmakers should introduce fresh faces: KB

‘Every filmmaker should introduce new talents through their films. It will serve well for the industry’, veteran filmmaker K Balachander said.

Speaking at a function organised to introduce Ritvik Varun, son of director Vasanth, the Dada Saheb Phalke winner said, ‘talents are available in plenty here. Filmmaker should identify them and give them an opportunity to excel’.

‘In my career spanning over five decades, I have directed over 100 films and introduced over 126 fresh faces’, he added.

Expressing his confidence that Ritvik Varun will make it big, he said, ‘youngsters have made their mark felt in Tamil film industry’.

Moondru Paer Moondru Kadal is directed by Vasanth, who incidentally started his career as associate to Balachander.
