Film Chamber meets Union Minister

The Office-bearers of the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce has made an appeal to the Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Manish Tewari with regard to various issues including service tax on artistes and technicians.

The SIFCC office-bearers met Union Minister Manish Tewari on Chennai a few days ago and took up issues including service tax on artistes, screening of regional movies on Doordarshan and the centenary celebrations of the Indian film industry to be organised by the film industry. They also invited the Minister for a felicitation function planned by the Chamber.
