Director passes away in Chennai

Filmmaker Sasi Mohan (56), who is now Dinesan, died due to health ailment at Kodambakkam in Chennai this morning (October 1).

He was suffering from liver-related diseases and was under treatment for some time. The end came at 4 am at his residence in Bharathiar Colony.

Popular in Kerala film industry, Dinesan was making a Tamil movie called Oduthalam. His earlier films Thilagam (Malayalam) and Bhadrakaliamman (Tamil) were notable.

Oduthalam was being produced by Babu Kavlekar and Raju Nambiar with Sreejith (of Rathinirvedam fame) and Rupika in the lead roles.
