Known for his impromptu dance moves on the cricket field, especially to celebrate a wicket, West Indies cricketer and Chennai Super Kings’ star player Dwayne Bravo is all set to groove to a song in an upcoming Tamil film titled Ula.
Directed by Rajjan Madhav of Muran-fame, the movie has Vidharth, Ajmal Amir, Radhika Apte and Gayathrie in lead roles. Bravo is quite a popular face in this part of the country for his heroics on field for CSK, a hugely followed IPL team.
Says Bravo, ‘It is a very special song and I’m sure the audiences are going to love it. There s always a desire in me to take up dancing or cut a music album.’
Having watched my dance movements on field during CSK matches, the producer and director of the movie Ula approached me through a common friend to shake a leg for a song. After a couple of meetings, I
Cricket is my priority now. Perhaps after I hang up my boots, I may take up acting, dancing or music as my career. The life span of an actor is more compared to a cricketer, he added.
