BOFTA launched

Bofta Launch Function Stills (4) The Blue Ocean Film and Television Academy (BOFTA), a film school set up by producer G Dhananjayan in Kodambakkam, was inaugurated on Wednesday.

At a function held in Chennai on Wednesday, it was unveiled.

The direction course will be headed by Mahendran, acting by Nasser,m cinematography by Madhu Ambat, editing by Lenin, film journalism by cartoonist Madhan.

Speaking on the occasion, Dhananjayan, said, ‘BOFTA provides opportunity for students to learn from the legends’.
Courses commencing on 1 July 2015 and the admissions commence from today. The classes will be held from 9.30 a.m to 4.30 p.m from Monday to Saturday. The Academy is set up in a 3-storey building in the heart of Tamil Film Industry (Kollywood) at BOFTA, Raviprasad Film Labs, No.8 to 11, V.O.C. 1st Main Street, Lane before Ram Theatre, Kodambakkam.
