Bhavana speaks up

Bhavana’ last flick in Ktown was Asal. After that the actress moved to do Kannada and Malayalam films. The latest is also that the actress is getting busy with Kannada and Malayalam films. She has signed Hariharans untitled project, scripted by M T Vasudevan Nair in Mollywood. The actress, who is excited to be part of a Hariharan-MT flick, says, It is a dream come true for me.

In fact, I had no dates to spare, since I am now busy shooting for Kannada film Bachchan starring Sudeep. However, I didnt want to give the project a miss as it is not every day that such opportunities knock on your door. So I somehow managed to squeeze in dates for the film. However, Bhavana says she is not in a position to speak about her role in the flick. It is too early to talk about my character. In fact, Ive been asked not to speak about the film and my role at this point of time, she says.

The actress has also signed up for actor-director Lals son Jean Pauls debut film Honeybee, which will start shoot in February. The flick will see her sharing screen space with two of Mollywood leading stars Fahadh Faasil and Asif Ali. Apart from Trivandrum Lodge, Bhavana had just one release in M-Town this year Ozhimuri. She has her reasons. Ive become choosy. Moreover, I am too tied up with Kannada films. For the same reason, I couldnt take up Arun Kumar Aravinds Left Right Left, she shares. So is she going choosy only in Malayalam? Not at all. Even in Kannada, I dont do every film which is offered to me, she says and adds that she doesnt feel she has missed out on the current wave of experimental films in Mollywood. I couldnt do most of the films offered to me. But I believe that they werent meant to be, she signs off. Any coming back to K Town, Bhavana?!!
