The wait for Balakrishna fans in Tamilnadu will be over. The ace actor will be seen in a straight film for the first time. Balaiyah, as he is affectionately called will play the lead role in Varuvan Thalaivan, a bilingual being made by debutant Sekra Raja.
Produced by Lakshmi Manchu, daughter of veteran Telugu film personality Mohanbabu, the film is touted to be a costly affair being made on huge set erected recently.
Manchu Mohan will play the lead along with Balakrishna. Shooting is almost completed.
Balakrishna, said, ‘ the movie has all in it to excel. A young team has come together for the project and I am happy to be part of it’.
Lakshmi Manchu on her part said, ‘ we all grew up in Chennai and we have a great bonding with the place. To do a Tamil movie is a delight’.
