The remake of Thillu Mullu, which has ‘Mirchi’ Siva in the lead role, hit the floors at a colourful function in Chennai on Friday.
The event was attended by IJK leader Parivendhar, K Balachander, M S Viswanathan and other popular personalities of Tamil film industry.
The new version will be directed by Badri, with Siva, Isha Talwar, Prakashraj, Sathyan and Kovai Sarala in pivotal roles. Music will be jointly scored by M S Viswanathan and Yuvan Shankar Raja.
Vendhar Movies is producing the film. ‘We will take extra take care while filming each and every scene, since Thillu Mullu was a cult hit and we have to keep up its fame,’ says Badri.
